Station Hotel Carnoustie offers excellent food options. I had steak pie, chips and veg. Hearty meal. Fish and chips and smokie dish available. Wholesome food. Great service.Did not stay in rooms, so cannot review that.
We stayed in Carnoustie for a night and this restaurant was recommended by our host as a good place to eat. The hotel/restaurant is located in a great place within walking distance of the beach and town. The restaurant was extremely busy for a week night so booking in advance is highly recommended. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Great choice of drinks both hot or cold. The food is generally pub grub, generous portions and very tasty!
We had a bar meal at the Station Hotel midweek. It was fairly busy but still had a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. The menu is quite small but has a good variety of meals to choose from. The food we had was excellent. The portion sizes were generous and great quality. Very good service that was fast and efficient and reasonable prices. I recommend this place for a meal and would advise booking a table during busy times.
My wife and i go for lunch at the Station Hotel when we are in Carnoustie. The food is good and the staff are really nice.
Yet another beautiful meal here. A must visit for us when we’re in the area. Specials tonight sampled! Chicken in a creamy leek sauce. Delicious! Lovely new potatoes & veg too. Nice large chicken breast with bacon. Then banoffee pie with cream - absolutely perfect. Husband had his usual delicious apple pie with custard & ice cream - really nice. All served very quickly in nice surroundings - all staff lovely but special mention to Danielle who always excels. Looking forward to our next visit! Thank you one & all for a truly lovely meal at a very reasonable price in a friendly atmosphere.

First visit today for lunch with friends. Sensible menu, well-cooked food, generous portions, reasonable prices, perfect service. No wonder they were busy; best to book ahead if possible. Traditions of Scottish hospitality well upheld here.
We had a booking for mum 70th birthday there was a good few of us and the staff where amazing nothing was to much promt table service food was fantastic should be a higher rating in stars 10 out 10 from us great atmosphere our food order was of different meals and all came out together pipping hot and delicious I would highly recommend this little hidden treasure we will diffently be back well done station hotel and thank you so very much.
Had a meal here whilst staying at Broughty ferry. Really enjoyed but platefuls too big for me. I only managed half. Service was fab too. Staff really friendly.
